Obituary of Kathy J. Messier

WALLINGFORD - Kathy J, Messier, 61, of Wallingford passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was the loving wife of Alan Messier.

Kathy was born in Morristown, NJ on May 26, 1957 to Joyce (Johnson) Kratt and the late Albert Kratt. Kathy was involved in numerous churches serving as the Director of Christian education, and long-term active member of First Baptist Church in Wallingford.

Beside the love of her life, Al, Kathy will be sorely missed by one son Marc (Allison) Messier of Portland, OR; one sister: Robin Shields, brother in law William Shields of RI; one brother: A. Trapper Kratt and sister in law Michelle Kratt; and her mother Joyce Kratt as well as many extended family.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., in Wallingford. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 114 North Main St., in Wallingford. Interment will be private.
