Obituary of Doris Ann Hall

Doris Ann (Guida) Hall, 90, of Wallingford and formerly of Meriden, passed away on December 1, 2018, at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was born in Middletown, CT on April 13, 1928, to the late Joseph and Mary (Florkoski) Guida. Doris was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown and George Washington University in Washington, DC. She worked for the State of CT as a medical technician and for the city of Meriden for over 20 years as the Assistant City Clerk. Following her retirement, she was a volunteer with the Connecticut Tourism Board, working at the Information Centers at the Bradley International Airport and Westbrook Tourist Centers. She was also an active volunteer at Lyman Hall High School, Gaylord Hospital and the Connecticut Heart Association. Doris was a member of the Wallingford Historical Society and the Wallingford Preservation Trust & Library Association.

Doris is survived by her loving children David C. Hall of Union, South Carolina and Lois A. Hall (James Clark) of Hopkinton, MA, as well as her granddaughter Elizabeth Clark of Minneapolis.
