Obituary of Cynthia "Cindy" Wirtz

WALLINGFORD - Cynthia "Cindy" Wirtz, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Midstate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Wirtz.

Cynthia was born in New Haven on November 11, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Irene Ferguson Leete Drozdz, her father Harry Leete and stepfather Louis Drozdz. She worked at Stanley-Judd and retired from Masonicare and Walmart of Wallingford.

She is survived by her twin daughters: Holly Helstrom and Kristine (John) Sabatucci; grandchildren: Desierea Plont, Patrick O'Dea, Tracey and Justin Sabatucci; along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cynthia is also survived by her two sisters: Sylvia Belomizi and Kathryn (Harold) Boyton. She was predeceased by her former husband Albert Helstrom, and her two daughters: Donna Fecteau and Robin Belanger.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Northford Cemetery, in Northford, CT.
