Obituary of Jane E. Maslar

It is with great sadness that the family of Jane E Maslar shares the news of her passing on Saturday January 19, 2019 at the Genesis Meriden Center after a brief illness.

Jane was born in Wallingford CT on April 16, 1929 to the late Oliver and Adele (Heroux) Perrault. She grew up and attended school in Wallingford. For many years Jane worked for the Southern New England Telephone Company. Her later years took her to Sanibel Island Florida where she resided for fourteen years. She had a love for the beach and its tranquility. As her children began to have families of their own, Jane returned to Meriden, where she lived out her remaining years. Jane enjoyed cooking and had a special place in her heart for her dogs and bird watching. Above all she was dedicated to her family whom she cherished the most.

Jane is survived by her children; Cheryl (Ralph) Smith; Bruce (Janice) Maslar; Gail Hennessy; Holly Mucik (Tom Perrelli), Denise (Mike) Chymbor; Michael Maslar; Jocelyn (Donnie) Henderson, Cindy Mauro and nieces Jane Singer and Janet Montgomery along with several other nieces and nephews. She will also be cherished in the memories of her 22 grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her former husband Richard (Muzzy) Maslar of 33 years, son Richard Maslar, her grandson Kevin Maslar, son-in-law Paul Hennessy, her two brothers William & Norman Perrault and sister Helen Singer.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Genesis Meriden Center for their kindness and care.
