Bertha and family,
While we had the pleasure of meeting Sal just a few years ago, during the course of a few visits with you and Sal in Florida, he made a lasting impression on us both. We looked forward to and greatly enjoyed his very warm manner and engaging, interesting conversations. We are saddened to hear of his passing and send our sincere condolences.

Aunt Bertha, Martin, Bob, Jerry and Families
We will all miss Uncle Sal's infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor. I learned to have the deepest affection and respect for him at an early age; spending many summers visiting Wallingford. He always made me feel welcome into your home.
The past 10 years gave my family and I another opportunity to share many great times with Uncle Sal and Aunt Bertha over meals, gardening, outings to different points in Florida, dancing and singing.
It is sad that he is gone but knowing that my children, their spouses and my grandkids had the privilege to get to know Uncle Sal; allowing them to hold the same love and admiration I have had for him for over 50 years. He will live on in our memories.
Rest in Peace Uncle Sal

We were so saddened to hear of Uncle Sal’s passing. Mike, Harry and I had the opportunity to spend time with Uncle Sal during our many vacations to Florida over the last few years and our newest addition, Henry, had the pleasure of getting to know him during the 10 weeks we spent in Florida last year. He was always so kind to my boys and they adored him! We are grateful for the time we shared with both Uncle Sal and Aunt Bertha. Florida visits will not be the same without him but we will always cherish the wonderful memories we made together with him. His kindness, wittiness, and energetic spirit will be remembered forever! Our condolences to Aunt Bertha, Martin, Bob, Jerry and all the families. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Love and prayers from Newfoundland!

Farwewell to one of the most kind, and gentlemanly Wallingford Rotarians
Sal always had a kind word and smile for everyone and knew that life really as about service above self.
As it is often said, they just do not make "them" like this anymore.
