Dear Doug and the entire Larsen family,
I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your dad. I remember him well from growing up. From the picture you posted, he had not changed a bit! My parents (Jack and Harriet Porter) always spoke so well of their friends Loretta & Walt. When my brother John was born they lived in an apartment on the second floor in a house where your family owned the house, and your family lived on the first floor. Your family then moved to Cheshire Rd and my parents had our house on Tennessee Ave built, and they remained friends.
My heart goes out to you all. May your sadness be lessened by knowing he is now with your mom, enjoying all the glories of Heaven! May you all be forever blessed and watched over by our Lord. Amen
