Maryann was a lovely person from the moment I first met her in homeroom when we were both freshman at St. Mary’s. She became my friend immediately, because of her friendly smile, warmth and sincerity. I enjoyed catching up with her at our reunions and always saw a brave and caring lady struggling with health issues. She carried such a health burden with grace, compassion and love for others.
