A loss that will be felt for a very long time. I am so grateful that Karen came to our last class get together. Although it was a sunny afternoon having her with us lite up the room. You would never know of her many illnesses and pain, she always looked wonderful..and that smile, always there....I think she was one classmate that continue to look exactly as she did in high school. We were able to keep in touch thru facebook and did so often. We had a very meaningful chat the beginning of the year in fact so much so that I printed her kind words and tucked them away telling her I was going to do just that and reread them often. I have done just them many times, her words continue to warm my heart. She will be missed by so many and her loving memory will remain with me for the rest of my life. Donald thank you for always bringing Karen to see our class. May all your wonderful memories help to ease your pain. Grateful to have known such a wonderful lady and classmate. Rest in peace by friend, and know we will continue to always remember you...you had that ability to make a lasting impression.

Here is a women who could light up a room with her presence. Karen has gone through her share of health issues, but stood strong and never complained. There are not to many woman like her. Along Karen's bumpy road, her heart and love was always with her husband Donald. Two peas in a pod. As Karen looks down on her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends she can see and feel the love we all have for her and will continue to have that love until we can be with her and see her again.
