I attended Oxford Center School and graduated with Eddie. He was an impressive sportsman and a very quick wit. We had a LOT OF FUN together back then.We never harmed anyone or damaged anything; mostly we just made people and ourselves laugh. On the first day of school, our eighth grade year, immediately after saying the Pledge of Allegiance- we (Eddie, Mike Kraemer, Ken Flaherty, Mark Sobin and Myself) were summoned by Mrs. Potter on the intercom to report to the Principal's office. We converged in the hallway on our way there and none of us had any idea why we were going- I mean we had just gotten to school and hadn't even had time to cause a disturbance. Mr Parmelee and Mr. Angelini crowded us into the tiny office, closed the door and proclaimed that "we were the leaders of the student body and the source of all the trouble in school- and they had their eyes on us- so don't start anything!" We looked around at each other ,were dismissed and shuffled out of the oppressor's lair. Out side and out of earshot we had whoops of joy! Such recognition from the establishment, such a HUGE COMPLIMENT- we felt we had truly arrived- a proud moment for all of us, and I have never forgotten it. And I have never forgotten Eddie, and I never will. RIP Love and peace, Jack Moran
