I grew up on Vineyard Point where the Hall's summered and Norman will continue to have a place in my 'happy childhood' memories. His quiet, gentle nature and how he would let us be 'us'. He took us boating and took pictures of us. I, as well as the whole Whitehead family, will always remember him fondly.
