My thoughts and prayers will be with George's family for a really long time, George was a great friend and a leader. He was a great campaign manager who whole heartedly believed being honest and giving all that you have for the people of Wallingford. I will always remember George Lane as the person who encouraged me to stay on the ballot as the Registrar of Voters, to continue to try and protect the rights of the VOTERS and not to allow politics to run the Registrars office, but to keep the office running according to State Statue.
