Dan, please know that our thoughts are with you. Our Chris is free now. I am so grateful that she was part of my life for just a little while. I miss my precious ""sister"", and I thank you for sharing her with me and all the others who love her so dearly.

Chris was and will always be my most special and dearest friend. Her love for life and those lucky enough to be in her life was filled with brillant vivacious energy. She also had the best wickedly wonderful sense of humor and had the ability run me through a complete course of emotions from tears to outload laughter with one of her own personal stories. Knowing Chris has deeply changed my life for the better. She will continue to live on with me and in everything thing I do. Looking forward to seeing you and the cats on Saturday.

Seagreen, who I didnt know personally, but through the Yahoo cancer chat site, I offer my condolences to her family for the loss of a wonderful person, whose memory and influence will continue on. I wish I had known her better. May she now rest in peace, with the knowledge that she made a difference in the this world and will now be welcomed into the next.

My ""adopted aunt"" Chris was one of the most sensitive and caring individuals that I have crossed paths with. I will miss her dearly. To Dan, Ralph, Pam, the Sittnick family and the Page family, I give you my deepest sympathies and I want to let you know that Chris is in my prayers. In prayer, I have asked my father, who passed away in 1994, to take her into his care now.

I met Chris in Palm Springs in the summer of 2000 and we clicked right away. Her sense of humor was one of her best qualities. She could tease you mercilessly and yet you could still feel the love behind it. Cancer makes insomniacs out of all of us at times and we spent many late nights having cyber parties, cyber flirtations and cyber eating. Boy Chris loved food, whether she had an appetite or not. We connected with the kids inside us...some nights we were 8 yrs old and just being little terrors. We rarely acted our ages in Cancer Chat. She was a dear friend and I miss her already!My deepest condolences to you and the family, Dan. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Christine was known to us in the cancer chat room as 'seagreen'. Sea was a very worm, loving, caring person who taught us a lot about how to live your life with cancer. I miss you still, my Chris. You've been so heavy on my heart the past few days. I've been re-reading the emails you sent to me. Your encouragement. Love. Advice. Bossy-ness. I'd give anything to hear your voice again... I miss you so so so much. Come and find me, will ya? I'm fairly certain that you may have had something to do with a certain someone coming into my life recently...and thank you, for her. My Chris,
You've been gone now for almost six years and sometimes it feels like it was only yesterday. I still miss you and think of you often.
So much has changed in these almost six years and I wonder if you can see me. I wonder if you hear me when I whisper to you. I try to believe that you would be proud of me. That's the most important thing...is that you'd be proud of the person I've become. I think you would and I'd also like to think that you've been part of my cheering squad that have helped me to accomplish all that I have.
I sometimes wear your pj's to bed. Still. Your butterfly pin is hanging from my lamp over my bed. I'm sorry if the butterflies have been your way of saying hello and I've been too dumb to notice it before this summer.
I pray that you know what is in my heart that I can't write out. I tried to make the best choice possible - I know you know that.
I'm happy, Chris. Happy, healthy, successful and well. I love life now. You were correct.
I wish I could go back to that day that we sat side by side and held hands and talked all day long under a blanket. It really was one of the best days of my life.
I also wish you would have said goodbye. But, maybe there's something in that that I haven't received.
I miss you, Momma. I love you with all of my heart and soul. I hope that when the day comes that I get to see you again and hold your hand. But, until then, watch over me and everyone that loved you so very much. You totally win the Miss Popularity award.
