I just happened to read the obituaries today in the Hartford Courant online site. And I was so sorry to find out about the passing of my cousin Janice Schmidt. Her husband Bob was my 1st cousin on my father's side of the family. I remember when Janice and Bob were first married, and they used to visit at my parents house in New Britain. I used to call Janice occasionally from my home here in California, and we always had a good laugh at one thing or another. I will certainly miss her - there are only a few of us now of our generation left! My sincere sympathy to the other members of her family. Shirley Copeman Thomas.
