Theodore Ronald Taylor, 72, of Wallingford, departed this life on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the loving husband of Carol (Rabideau) Taylor Theodore was born on November 4, 1942, in Chatham, NY, the son of the late Floyd and Ethel (McMahon) Taylor. Prior to his retirement, Theodore worked as an over the road trucker. He was an avid collector of model cars and trucks and enjoyed Nascar. He and Carol frequented many fairs such as the Big E and Chatham fair. He was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his daughter Melinda and her boyfriend Charlie of Bristol; his son Dwayne and his partner Damon of Wallingford: his grandchildren Brian Jr. and Tara and step grandchildren Katie and Kyle. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, October 30, 2015 (Theodore and Carol's 50th wedding anniversary) at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford from 9-10:00 AM. A funeral led by Fr. Authur DuPont of the Church of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at the CT State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
