Obituary of Aline Tardif Suplinskas
WALLINGFORD - Aline Tardif Suplinskas, 85, wife of the late George Suplinskas, died on March 13, 2017 at MidState Medical Center with her loving sons Ron, Al and Jeff at her side. Born in St. Agatha, ME on October 19, 1931, the sixth child of Patrick and Modeste Pelletier Tardif.
She was educated in St. Agatha and Fort Kent, ME. After graduation, Aline moved to CT where she met and married her loving husband George. They settled in Wallingford and were blessed with four loving children. Aline was mostly a stay at home mom while raising and enjoying her family. This time allowed her to pursue her longtime interest in crafting and crocheting designs which were accepted and published in various crochet magazines for over two decades. She loved the outdoors, having been raised on a farm, and enjoyed growing organic veggies for her family and friends. The time she spent nurturing and growing her gardens was especially gratifying. She grew beautiful flowers and had a wonderful organic garden each year. Most satisfying to her was sharing the harvest with family and friends.
After the loss of her husband George, her sons Ron, Alan and Jeff along with daughter in law Kelly and her grandchildren Lauren and Greg were the center of her family and her life. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Odell Raymond, a sister in law, Mrs. Regina Tardif and two brothers in law: Mr. Elmer Ouellette and Mr. Ray Larkin. The family wishes to thank the staffs of MidState Medical and Hartford Hospital Hospice for their compassionate care over the last several weeks.
Besides her husband George, she is predeceased by her daughter, Janice Nisbet, three brothers: Lucien, Maurice and Raoul and two sisters: Hilda Sylvain Larkin and Dorothy Ouellette
Services led by Fr. John Georgia, pastor of the Church of the Resurrection will be private at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. To leave a message of remembrance, please visit www.BaileyCares.com.
