Obituary of Lillian Mary Paquette
Lillian Mary Paquette, 67, of Yalesville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 1. She was married to her best friend and the love of her life, Richard A. Paquette, for over 48 years.
Born on August 29, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, Lillian was the daughter of the late Edmund and Lillian Kruz. She worked at Hamilton Watch Co in the 60s, Oakdale Theater during the 70s and 80s, and Flow Monorail during the 90s. She loved going on long Sunday drives in the country with her husband and their dog, Faith, enjoyed the occasional cruise, was an avid reader of mystery novels, and adored the Christmas holiday. Her kind and gentle spirit will be remembered by many.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Gryzbek and her husband, Ovidio, of Meriden, and their children, Matthew and Christine; her son, Richard E. Paquette and his wife Melissa of Plantsville, and their son, Jacob; her sister, Barbara Wickham of Wallingford; and many nieces, nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. at In Memorium Cemetery of Wallingford. A Celebration of Lillian's Life luncheon will be held at the Masonic Temple of Meriden, 112 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450 following the ceremony. A memorial service will be held; date and time to be determined. Please contact the family for further information.
