I am SO grateful that Frank and I re-connected in 2009, he reached out to me on classmates, he came to visit on/off for a few years, we were able to be friends after all those years. We were together from 1983 to 1991, lots of memories, big part of Jody & Chris lives as their step-mother. I am grateful to Nancy, his sister, for keeping me updated on his illness, as a result, Frank and I texted each other since the spring, until first week of August. Frank, you will always be in my heart, you were my only marriage, watch over us all, hope they have all the tools you could ever dream of where you are, to build a "Stairway to Heaven" to keep connected in Spirit to all of us!

The times I spent with Frank and Colleen were always filled with smiles and laughter. I enjoyed teasing him about his date night choices. Tractor pulls, car shows.......
He really was "The most interesting man in the world ".
Rest In Peace

I don't know what to say.. I am at a loss. We had some wonderful times together and with Jody and Chris. I do know that Shorty met him on the other side ( Jody named the dog Shorty) May he rest in peace. May the family find solace in all the love that is flowing in for them.

As Frank's youngest sister in law, I had the privilege of knowing Frank from age 4 to the present, age 47. There are a lot of memories over those four decades. I remember as a 5 1/2 year old in SH hospital with pneumonia that Frank made "it all better " by playing with me and using a bean bag frog, "Froggie", that I still possess, to get me to smile. Believe me, that was no easy challenge. Small moments but big memories... Lots of other memories from those days, including Xmas eve when I was 7 and Laura was expecting Chris. I was totally spooked by the fact that I was sleeping over , but near the Xmas tree with all of those shadows and lights on a couch in a very big room alone. I actually wanted to dive into the " Winnie the pooh" nursery that was a work in progress for baby Chris. After "loudly whimpering" for what seemed like an eternity, Frank again got it and smiled and gave me a big hug and set my mind at ease. I was moved into their room for the rest of my stay.....
Fast forward to the present and most recently when I went to his home, I observed that same tenderness and caring with "the boys" as he eagerly engaged them to take apart and reconstruct multiple household items on the table. It was quite the sight !
There's a lot more I could write, but he did the best he could have done with what he had to work with. And, his illuminating smile, even when I saw him recently, was just as youthful and uplifting as it was 40 yrs ago!! It was still there, four decades later. RIP and please keep those kids upstairs occupied and happy ! Alex

The times we went out to dinner with Colleen and Frank, were such fun occasions due in part to Frank's sense of humor. He was a good listener yet was able to add fun contributions to the conversation. Frank was also very patient, with Colleen and I, as we caught up on the news of my former co-workers at school. I can still picture the light in Frank's eyes as he talked about his grandsons-it was very obvious how much he loved them. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Frank's family and of course to Colleen.
