WALLINGFORD - Jean Crockett, 83, formerly of Chestnut Lane, departed this life on April 17, 2015 at the Regency House in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of the late Robert W. Crockett.
Jean was born in Westbrook, ME on March 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert and Georgia (Gray) Littlefield. She had a great love of her home state of Maine and camping. She was a musician who received great satisfaction from the donation of her grand piano to the Dag Hammarskjold Middle School in Wallingford where she had been a teacher for many years.
She is survived by her daughters: Glenna Piring and her husband Robert of Wallingford, Brenda Santillo and her husband Paul of Wallingford, and Johnna Trowbridge and her husband Robert of Meriden; grandchildren: Krystle Matthews, Jason Miller, Katelynn Cude, Stephanie and Nikki Santillo, and Michael and Nicole Trowbridge; and four great grandchildren: Lilly and Abby Trowbridge and Zoey and Scott Matthews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Regency House for all of their care for Jean. It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to charities working in the fields of diabetes and Alzheimer's.
