WALLINGFORD - Robert H. Williams, 83, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Harriet K. Blanchard, departed this life on Monday, February 16th at Mid-State Medical Center. Bob was born on March 24, 1931 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Alphonse and Jeanne (Vertefeuille) Williams. He was a graduate Choate School class of 1949 and later obtained his Bachelors degree from Yale College and attended the Yale School of Architecture. Bob was a teacher and coach at Choate Rosemary Hall from 1953 - 1992. He is survived by his wife Harriet of Wallingford, along with two daughters: Michele Gibson of GA, and Suzanne Williams and her husband David Lloyd of IL. Bob also leaves two granddaughters: Sarah and Emily Gibson, both of GA. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 2:00 PM at the Seymour St. John Chapel on the campus of Choate Rosemary Hall. Interment will be private.
