Dear Louis, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about your mother's passing. I mostly remember her from my visits many years ago when you and she lived on Tremper Drive. She was ill at the time but I really didn't realize what was wrong until years later when I had grown up and realized that she had a serious psychological illness. Those must have been very difficult years for you and she. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been of some help to you both but I was too young and uninformed at that time. Years later I remember running into your mother in town and how she had changed. She was doing much better then. I remember her that day as talkative and funny. A whole person who knew what was going on and remembered me and my sister, Bonnie. Anyway, I'm sorry that she suffered with her illness at a time when she probably didn't receive any treatment for it and you were so young. I hope that you are doing o.k.and I want you to know that I am thinking of you and wishing you well. God bless, Doreen Carver Simjian
