Obituary of Sunday Joy Pelloni
Sunday Pelloni was loved by many for filling our lives, hearts and stomachs full of love, fabulous food, and wisdom. Her smile brightened a room, her spirit and strength were an inspiration to all who were blessed enough to know and love her. Sunday took care of her friends and family by listening, helping wherever she could, feeding them, sharing life lessons or by giving them a good kick in the ass. Even until her last days, she was the ultimate host , serving wine and food to her friends when she could no longer.
Above all, Sunday loved life . She lived for her family. Spending time with her brothers and sisters was a religion for her. Surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren was her passion. Her heart was genuine and pockets charitable. When she had little means to give, she still had room for charity. You could often find her dancing around like nobody was watching or driving around in her convertible singing at the top of her lungs. Her favorite place was her kitchen table surrounded by great food, friends and family.
Sunday's cup was always half full, her perspective always positive, and her will stronger than ever. Nothing could stop her from achieving her goals or proving to herself she could do something. She could bust up a foundation, remodel a kitchen, and paint the outside of her house all while taking care of her family. She was unstoppable.
Sunday loved to cook, garden, draw, create, travel, sing and dance. She was an amazing artist earning an Associate's Degree in Fine Art which earned her a life changing safari trip to Africa. She owned an award winning restaurant in Cheshire. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, Jasmine and Austin. Her greatest blessings were her grandchildren, Jackson, Ronan and Ava. She adored her son in law, Michael and her daughter in law, Stefanie and loved nothing more than when they were all together. Her strength, huge heart, and family loyalty flows through her children's veins.
Sunday was born, May 8th, 1958 in Meriden CT. She was the daughter of the late Thomas (TP) and Anna (Sarro) Pelloni. She was predeceased by her sister, Rozanne Pelloni and nephew, Kurt Anderson. She is survived by an amazingly strong family, and adoring group of friends, her children, Jasmine and Michael Tullis of Dover, NH and Austin Stewart of Wallingford and Stefanie Liberti of West Haven. Her brothers and sister in laws, Thomas and Susan Pelloni from Southington CT, Anthony and Donna Pelloni of Ashaway Rhode Island, and Jimmy and Denice Pelloni of Fort Lauderdale Florida. She is also survived by her adoring Uncles and Aunts, John Pelloni of Hinsdale NH, Stella Ferriola of New Haven, and George Pelloni of Wallingford.
