WALLINGFORD - Harold F. Anderson, 95, beloved husband of the late Mary (Kotowski) Anderson, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Regency House in Wallingford. Harold was born in New Haven, CT on January 11, 1919 son of the late Harold K. Anderson and Viola (Allard) Anderson. He served honorably during World War II within the Navy. He worked for many years as a Stationary Engineer until his retirement. He was an active member of the Wallingford Senior Center and also belonged to the Senior Citizens Singing Group. Harold loved to sing, and was a very faith filled man. He will be sadly missed by his children: Patricia A. Tremblay and her husband Robert of Wallingford, Harold F. Anderson and his wife Debra of Ashford, Robert J. Anderson and his wife Joan of Columbia, and Judith A. Campbell and her husband James of Anderson, SC. Harold also leaves numerous beloved grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Johnson and two grandsons; Timothy and Kurt Anderson. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements. Interment will be private and in St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford.
