BRANFORD - Ada Pryor Bryan Speranza, 91, departed this life peacefully at home on March 31, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul D. Speranza. Ada was born July 29, 1922 in Smithville, GA, to the late Moses W. and Musa (Usry) Bryan. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Lieutenant nurse in the Pacific front during World War II and had worked as visiting nurse and then a nursing educator prior to her retirement. She taught nursing at Adelphi University in Garden City NY prior to raising her children and later at Muhlenberg school of nursing in Plainfield NJ after raising her children.
