WALLINGFORD - Nancy C. Marcucio, 64, of Wallingford, beloved wife of Richard Marcucio Sr., departed this life on February 18, 2014 at the Masonic Healthcare in Wallingford, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on July 28, 1949 in New Haven, daughter of the late Richard and Clara (Pellegrino) King. She graduated from Wilbur Cross High School Class of 1967. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as an executive assistant at Armstrong Rubber, executive secretary at Yale, administrative assistant for Joseph Golden Insurance, and office manager for Visconti Pikaart and Associates Accounting. She was a member of Kingdom Life Christian Church in Milford where she served for many years in the children's ministry. She will be sadly missed by her husband Richard of Wallingford and their children: Richard Marcucio Jr. and his wife Christine of Watertown, and Gina Bulkley and her husband Michael of Milford. She also leaves her brother, Richard King of Branford and her sisters, Elizabeth Fusco and her husband Thomas of New Haven, and Margaret Altieri and her husband Frank of Northford. Nancy also leaves her three beloved grandchildren: Jonathan, Hannah, and Shiloh. She is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia (King) Affinito. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Kingdom Life Christian Church, 1455 Naugatuck Ave., Milford at 6:00 PM. Church will open at 5:30 PM to greet the family. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America - Eastern Region Medical Center, "Assistance in Healthcare" at 1331 E. Wyoming Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19124. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
