WALLINGFORD - June M. Wilson, 90, of Wallingford, artist and beloved wife of the late Maurice Scott Wilson, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. June was born on June 26, 1923 in Mount Vernon, NY daughter of the late George Adam Miller and Bertha (Tjornham) Miller. She was employed for many years as a telephone clerk, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Meriden. She was also a member of the Wallingford and North Haven Art Guild. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Wilma Wilson and Aaron Wilson both of Hamden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her son, Russell Wilson and daughter Wendy Wilson, along with two sisters. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, January 6th from 9 - 10 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 164 Hanover St, Meriden, CT. A funeral service will follow at 10 AM in the church with Rev. Chris McKinstry officiating. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
