Obituary of Adolf Stanley Pzedpelski

WALLINGFORD - Adolf Stanley Pzedpelski, 90, departed this life on October 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Johnson) Pzedpelski. He was born in Wallingford on October 8, 1923, son of the late Peter K. and Zenobia (Dombrowski) Pzedpelski. Adolf was a veteran of Army Air Force serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II from 1942 thru 1946. He worked as a Master Carpenter in Wallingford at Choate School for 39 years before retiring in 1985. On May 13, 1948 he married Helen Johnson Pzedpelski, his best friend and the love of his life. They had 65 wonderful years together. He built the home they lived in for the last 58 years. There are no words to describe the depth of loss felt by his family who he loved dearly and who loved him and forever will hold his memory dear. He was an intelligent, kind, loving, helpful, thoughtful and gentle man who loved God and family, friends and neighbors. He was the center of all the many and memorable celebrations, holidays and family get togethers. In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his son: Peter Pzedpelski and his wife Linda of PA; daughters: Karen Pzedpelski of Wallingford and Susan Pzedpelski Rondeau and her partner Thomas of Meriden; grandchildren: Tisha Pzedpelski of PA, David Rondeau and his wife Crystal of MA, Peter Pzedpelski and his wife Kristin of Ohio, Sarah Rondeau Mordarski and her husband Derek of Meriden, Jill Pzedpelski of PA; great grandchildren: Stephen Vergnetti and Joshua Vergnetti, Lily, Sophie and Cassie Rondeau, and Emma Pzedpelski; and a sister, Laura Bell of FL. He was preceded in death by a brother: Henry Pzedpelski and a sister: Beatrice Pzedpelski. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Kay and Sue - two super nurses at the Infusion Unit at MidState Medical Center. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, October 30th at 11:00 AM at the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford. There are no calling hours.
