WALLINGFORD - Stanley Sheppard, 92, of Wallingford, beloved husband of 70 years to Edith (Wall) Sheppard, departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. Stanley was born on May 1, 1921, in New York. He owned and operated Stanley Sheppard Company Inc. for over 65 years. He is survived by his wife Edith of Wallingford and their three sons: Richard Sheppard of Southbury, Jerald Sheppard of Wallingford, and Kenneth Sheppard of Wallingford and his Fiance Laura Toce. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
