Dear Linda:
One of the finest nurses I ever had the pleasure of working in my career. You cared about your patients and had that gift of truly knowing when something wasn't right with a patient. How I loved the Halloween that you dressed like the "Old School" nurse and clicked your nursing shoes to attention when I spoke with you. What a fun time that was.
Then I had the pleasure of dealing with you as a case manager. Still showing undaunting love for your patients. I am so happy that we became friends as time went on.
Our little 3pm pick me up of singing to the Tom Jones CD that you bought when you went on vacation to Vegas and got to see him. " Its' Not Unusual" to miss a great person like you.
You handled your illness with the same integrity and dignity that you handle your patients.
Good bye, my friend. You will be missed!
Nancy Maisonet aka Nanny (your the only one that I would let call me that)
