WALLINGFORD - Rose Belonick, 85, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Apple Rehabilitation Center in Cromwell. She was born in Terryville, CT, July 7, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Pawelchak Belonick. Ms. Belonick had been employed as a Home Health Aid and had worked for the New Haven Medical Health Pool. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, and had been an active volunteer at the Wallingford Senior Center, Head Start of Meriden, CT Baptist Home and the American Cancer Society in Middlefield. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Jean Sheehan and her husband John of Wethersfield, Christine Rouleau of Meriden, and Rudy Angelo and his wife Paula of Watertown and a sister, Amelia Masotta of Waterbury and seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5 - 7 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St, Wallingford. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home.
