I wish I had been able to attend the service last night for Aunt Shelia. Your whole family has been in my thoughts and prayers. I have been thinking about how although I hadn't seen Aunt Shelia too often in my adult years she always, always had such a wonderful smile on her face when I did see her. Her arms always opened wide for a hug and she always seemed eager to catch up on family happenings while holding your hand.. She had a way of making you feel special. Because of her and Uncle Rogers special ways I have four wonderful cousins. What a blessing. Aunt Shelia will be greatly missed.

Uncle Richie,
Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am that you were with us during this most difficult time. You were a pillar of strength for our family and it was a comfort for Mom knowing that you were there with all of us.
We will all miss her terribly, but we live by her lessons and carry her in our hearts.

Bobby, Paul, Alison, and Roger;
My heart goes out to you and your families. The time that I spent with you in the hospital as your Mom was preparing herself for her journey to be with her Savior, to be past all pain and to be reunited with her beloved parents, showed me how very strong all of you and your families are. How you supported each other and helped each other to bear the pain of your loss. How wonderful your spouses all were, and how they showed their love for your Mom and for each other. What a wonderful testimony to how you were all raised to love and respect each other and those around you. What a legacy to pass on to your children and their children to come. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all children could raised as your Mom raised you. Thank you for all the love and respect you showed me while I was there. It is wonderful to be wrapped in the arms of love when experiencing the loss of a loved one. I am so sorry that I cannot be there for the service, however, I hope that the fact that a large congregation of our friends at Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala are holding you in their hearts and prayers to help you through your time of mourning, will be a consolation for you all.

We had some great times together when we were young. We have some great memories that will live on! Camping, Christmas day, Wadsworth Falls, Days with Nana and Gramp and who can forget the infamous Night of partying with Alma. Paul, I will never forget the phone call your Uncle Richie made to Aunt Shelia to let her know that it was getting late and you would be spending the night...too funny. It's sad to say that as we got older and went our ways, we lost touch - I really hate that. One of the best surprises I had was when Aunt Shelia and Alison knocked on our door in Maryland late one evening. They were visiting Maryland and remembered we lived there so looked us up, drove out of their way, and knocked on our door at about 9:00 at night! Wow, I couldn't believe it! We had the best visit ever - it was like we never missed any years. I thought of Aunt Shelia often and will miss her. My heart goes out to Bobby, Paul, Alison, Roger and their families. I love you guys and will keep you in my thoughts. Stay strong. Debbie
