GREENE - Charlotte 83, of Hamden, CT and a longtime former resident of Dix Hills, NY, departed this life on August 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Donald Francis Greene. She was a loving mom to her daughters: Susan and her husband John, Ginny and her husband Dave, Nancy and her husband Howard, and her son Tom and his wife Susan. She is greeted in Heaven by her daughter Cathy. She was also proud grandma of: Stephanie, Nicholas, Kyle, Jacob, Emily, Samuel, Sarah, Sean, and great grandma of Isaac and Grant. She was very involved at St. Matthew's RC Church in Dix Hills, where she led the Lectors Ministry for many years. A Memorial Mass will be held on September 28, 2013 at 10:45 am at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 35 North Service Road, Dix Hills, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Meals on Wheels Association of America or Maryknoll Missions.
