WALLINGFORD - Bette S. Lynk, 86, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Lynk, departed this life on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Masonic Healthcare Center Hospice. Bette was born on December 14, 1926 in Camargo, IL, daughter of the late Joe and Jennie (Frasier) King. She worked until her retirement as a Loan Officer for Apple Bank. In her spare time she enjoyed baking and was known for her New York Cheesecake, she also loved animals. She was an amazing grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her children: Marsha Kay Arkenbout and her husband Steven of Wallingford, Wilma Parkinson of TX, and Larry Weston and his wife Jacqueline of FL. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating Bette's life will be held on Thursday, July 25th at 10:00 AM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford, CT. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
