Phebe Silvernail, 82, of Vero Beach, FL. passed away peacefully on June 9th, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. Born on August 14th, 1930 in New Haven, CT, she lived most of her life in Wallingford, CT until her retirement from Aetna in Middletown. She had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for the last 25 years. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Lawrence, her daughter, Patricia Olivieri of Fort Pierce, FL, her son, Lloyd of Meriden, CT and her beloved cat Gonzo. She enjoyed bingo, line dancing and teaching others to line dance. She was also an active member of the Village Green bowling league. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Meriden Human Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT since her love for animals was greater than her love for flowers. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 20th from 5 - 7 PM at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street in Wallingford. Burial will be private at a later date.
