WALLINGFORD - Jean (Kurty) Tudor, 83, Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Paul Kurty and Charles Tudor, departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wallingford, February 14, 1930, daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Curran) Semrau. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wallingford and the Wallingford Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Susan Kurty of Wallingford, 2 granddaughters, Sarah and Lauren Kurty of Wallingford along with a sister, Elaine Carabetta of Meriden, and a niece, Sandra Aron of Wallingford. Jean is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Semrau. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th at 10 AM at the In Memoriam Cemetery, 18 Maplewood Avenue, Wallingford. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wallingford Senior Center, 238 Washington Street, Wallingford, CT 06492. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
