Sue E. Koczak, 100, of Wallingford, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, May 12, 2013 peacefully at her home in Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen J. Koczak. Sue was born on September 21, 1912, in Mina, NY, a daughter of the late William and Nellie (Priester) Edwards. She was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and the Stone Business College. Her faith in Jesus Christ was central to her life, and she had been very active in her church. As long as she was able, Sue was involved in Bible studies and other church activities. She took great joy in Christian music. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Joyce Koczak of Wallingford, Janet Frauham and her husband Charles "Nick" of Wallingford; grandchildren: Stephen Frauham, Nicole Jackson and her husband Christopher, Charles Richard Frauham and his wife Heather; and greatgrandson: Connor Frauham. She was preceded in death by her her siblings: Harold Edwards, Lucy Ulbrich, Mabel Hall, Mary Wachtelhausen, and Everett Edwards. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church, 601 Paddock Ave., Meriden. Interment at the Center Street Cemetery in Wallingford is private. It is suggested that contributions in Sue's memory be made to the First Assembly of God, P.O. Box 2777, Meriden, CT 06450 - 1797. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
