Randy was a good friend of mine. We became good friends via the Internet then in person. I always enjoyed his breadth of knowledge and keen sense of humor and irony. I visited Randy in the hospital and at home most recently with my husband. Though it was only a few weeks before his passing, he was in fine form - his wits as sharp as a tack, and that wonderful ironic sense of humor still prevailed. I am ever so appreciative of his step-son, Phil, his brother Fred, and his Hungarian friend, Lia, surrounding him with their care and love in his final days. Good-bye Randy, You will be sorely missed.
