CROMWELL - Kathryn Smith Feeney, 90, of Cromwell, and formerly of Wallingford, beloved wife of Francis P. Feeney, departed this life on Friday, April 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Kathryn was born on June 6, 1922, in Hartford, daugther of the late John J. Smith and Anna Relihan Smith. She received her Bachelors Degree from St. Joseph College in West Hartford. Kay loved life and family. Kathryn will forever be in the hearts of her husband of 63 years Francis of Cromwell and their 8 children: Christopher Feeney and his wife Lori of Wallingford, David Feeney and his wife Colleen of Wallingford, Maryellen Feeney and her husband Antonio Campos-Neto of MA, Gregory Feeney of NY, Brendan Feeney and his partner Nancy Foley of Wallingford, Kathryn Feeney of Wallingford, Susan Feeney Thornton and her husband Robert of MA, and Paula Feeney Puig and her husband Michael of Wallingford. Kathryn also leaves two sisters: Sr. Anita Smith of the Mary Knoll Sisters, and Mary Smith Selfors both of Marlborough. Kay leaves 14 beloved grandchildren: Ian, Matthew, Patrick, Erin, Collin, Alexander, Gabriela, Franklin, Eric, Mary Kathryn, Anna, John, Gregory, Drew, Kyle, and Ryan along with 3 great grandchildren: David, Emma, and Penelope Kathryn and 21 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Francess Nelson, Rosemary Smith, and Jean Brahm and a brother, John Smith. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, April 23rd from 5 - 8 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 280 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 on Wednesday at 10:00 AM (those who are attending the Mass are asked to meet directly at the Church) Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford.
