Larrie Ann Roop, 80, of Wallingford, departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Cocomo Memorial in Meriden. She was the loving wife of Arnold Roop. Larrie was born on November 30, 1932, in Lima, OH, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris (Eastman) Hoak. She began her career at Yale University and continued working with her boss at the Community Healthcare Center Plan where she was the membership and business manager. She concluded her career working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield prior to retirement. In addition to her husband, she will be sadly missed by: her daughter Kimberly Bailey and her husband Douglas of Wallingford; her granddaughter: Jennifer Bailey of Wallingford, Tiphanie Roop-Coleman of Florida; her grandson Adam Roop of Florida, great granddaughter: Kendall Coleman of Floirda. She is preceded in death by her son David Michael Roop and a grandson Clifford Bailey. All services will be private. There are no calling hours.
