WALLINGFORD - Donald Janus, 77, departed this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Middlesex Healthcare in Middletown. Donald was born on April 8, 1936 in Meriden, CT, a son of the late Edward and Helen (Daney) Janus. He was proud of his service in the Marines and had been a member of the First Congregational Church of Wallingford. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as an electrical technician. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Elizabeth Janus of Wallingford; sons: Scott and his wife Karen, Joel and his wife Jennifer and Tim Janus of Wallingford, and Donald Janus, Jr. and his wife Tina of South Carolina; a brother, Ted Janus of Meriden; a sister, Barbara Peck of Cheshire; his former wife, Carolyn Janus of Killingworth; and grandchildren: DJ, Melissa, Katie, Scott, Kimber, Sarah and Lily Janus. All services will be private. There are no calling hours. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
