WALLINGFORD - Pauline VanDenBurgh, 101 , of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Alfred VanDenBurgh, departed this life on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. She was born in Hudson Falls, NY, February 9, 1912 daughter of the late Charles and Alida Goodson Selfridge. Mrs. VanDenBurgh had worked as a cafeteria worker at the Meriden - Wallingford Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Wallingford and was a member of Mispah Chapter, now Meridian Chapter #8 O.E.S. in Meriden. She is survived by 2 grandchildren, Lynn Laudano and fiance' Mark Carabetta of Meriden and Andrew Laudano of TX along with a great granddaughter, Amber Lynn Carabetta of Meriden. She was predeceased by a son David Van Denburgh and a daughter, Ronda Laudano. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at the In Memoriam Cemetery, in Wallingford. There are no calling hours. The family would like to thank the Masonic Healthcare Center for the wonderful care given to Pauline during her stay there.
