NORTH HAVEN - Marion Rumi Krasinski, 82 - On Monday, February18th Marion Rumi Krasinski of North Haven, CT passed peacefully in her home that she shared with her loving family for 45 years. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Krasinski and a sister Doris Stakowski. Marion was born August 25, 1930 to the late Lacy and Helen Rumi of Wallingford, CT Beloved mother to Suzy, Peter P. and David W. Krasinski all of North Haven. She received her associate's degree from Becker Junior College and was a highly active member of the North Haven Association of Retarded Citizens as well as serving on its Board of Directors. In addition, she also dedicated her time and served on committees for the Easter Seals organization. Employed with the North Haven Public School system, she later volunteered her services as an aide. She was a long time parishioner of North Haven Congregational Church. She enjoyed summers at the beach vacationing with her family in Misquamicut, RI, she loved books and was an avid reader. A breast cancer survivor, she devoted her life to her family. She was an extraordinary woman with a heart of gold and a fierce loyalty that was second to none. She wrote the book on unconditional love, a true angel on earth that most certainly holds a special place in Heaven. Marion, an amazing mother, a true blue friend, a very special lady, she will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. B.C.
