Marie Pacheco Boucher, 93, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the MidState Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Maurice Boucher. Marie was born on December 8, 1919, in Portugal, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Conseisao) Pacheco. She enjoyed the arts and music and will be remembered as a kind and accepting person. Her greatest legacy is that of a mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mary Ellen Martini and her husband Peter of Chandler, AZ; her son, Joseph Boucher and his wife Carol of Wallingford; her brother, Walter Pacheco and his wife Rita of Wallingford; her five grandchildren: Chrysa Pierce, Jay and Chad Martini, and Evan and Justin Boucher; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, December 14 from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamden. Memorial contributions may be directed to a local food bank or the charity of one's choice.
