WALLINGFORD - Ruth Upton LaFlamme RN, 95, of Wallingford, and formerly of Madison, beloved wife of the late J. William LaFlamme, departed this life peacefully at her home in Wallingford. Ruth was born on September 10, 1917 in Fredericton, NB Canada, daughter of the late Alan and Clara (Hargrove) Upton. She graduated from the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Waterbury and spent most of her life as a loving homemaker for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl LaFlamme Rothman of Wilmington, VT and her son J. William LaFlamme, Jr. of Milford, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren: Joshua and Amy Rothman, Bill and Sarah Rothman, David and Tyne Rothman, and Luke and Jacob LaFlamme, in addition to her great grandchildren: Piper, Baylor, and Will Rothman. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
