Susan E. Parker, 62, died peacefully on November 9, 2012 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. She was born May 19, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA, to Rev. Sydney Parker and Lottie (Furth) Parker, the eldest of their three daughters. She was valedictorian of her senior class at Ockawamick Central High School in Philmont, NY and went on to receive a B.A. in Art History from Barnard College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. She lived in New York City for over 40 years where she had a successful career in financial services at Price Waterhouse and later Paine Webber and where she dotingly raised her only daughter, Sarah. She was an avid runner and cyclist in her younger years and she always loved rock n' roll. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Parker Yesko of California; her father, Rev. Sydney Parker of Wallingford; and her sisters Madeline Parker of Wallingford and Bernice Parker of Massachusetts. A memorial service will take place at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.
