Betty June Sennett, 88, formerly of Milford, departed this life peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2012 at her home in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of the late Robert H. Sennett, Sr. Betty was born on December 6, 1923, in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Pomeroy) Simpson. She had been an active member of the Milford Senior Center where she was an avid line dancer. She will be sadly missed by her daughter June L. Barton and her husband Ronald of Wallingford; two grandchildren: Katie Corarito and her husband Terry of Meriden, and Caroline Percopo of Wallingford; two great grandchildren: Thaylia and Braydon Corarito; a sister Claire Boucher of NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Robert H. Sennett, Jr., and a sister: Joyce Shambley of Florida; and a nephew Kurt Shambley. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
