WALLINGFORD - Jean O. Clarke, 88, of Wallingford and formerly of Stuart, FL, beloved wife of the late Richard Clarke III, departed this life on their wedding anniversary, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. Jean was born in New Haven, March 18, 1924 daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Olsson) O'Neill. Until her retirement, she was a nurse's aide at the Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wallingford and Alice Chapter # 76, Order of Eastern Star in Hamden. She is survived by three sons, David Clarke of Sandy, OR, Douglas Clarke of Spring Creek, NV, and Bruce Clarke of Boston, MA, two daughters, Carol Castiglia of Waterbury, CT and Nancy Clarke of Sunrise, FL, along with a brother, Harry O'Neill of Hamden and 6 beloved grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 21st at 2:30 PM in the chapel of the Masonic Healthcare Center. There are no calling hours. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford, CT 06492. The B.C.
