WALLINGFORD - Helen Ethel Valentine, 98, of Wallingford, departed this life peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2012. She was the loving wife of the late Elmer Earl Valentine. Helen was born on August 13, 1913, in Wallingford, a daughter of the late Gustav and Rosa Szenas. Throughout her life, she enjoyed going to the casino, knitting and taking back road trips to her favorite places. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Eleanor Kovach (Frank) of North Haven, Emma Ford of Canada, Barbara Beardsley of Florida; a son: Lester Earl Valentine of Wallingford; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two sisters, one brother, and one grandchild. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at B.C.
