Rose McMahon Lange, born April 2, 1911 passed away peacefully with her family by her side Monday February 13, 2012. She was 100 years young and lived life to her fullest. Rose enjoyed bowling, traveling, knitting reading, puzzles, games and the UCONN Woman's Basketball team. Her greatest joy was her family and playing cards with them "out back". Rose is survived by her twin sons George Lange, Paul and Dorothy Lange and a sister Bertha Marcantonio. Her grand-children Alan and Helen Lange, Gail and Rick Grondin, Sean and Yana Lange, Sue and John Koba and Scott Lange. Her great- grandchildren Jessica, Adrianne, Timothy, Morgan, Emily and Colin. At the request of Rose there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers any donations can be sent in her memory to the Connecticut Baptist Home, 292 Thorpe Ave., Meriden, CT 06450 where she resided in the last two years.
