WALLINGFORD - James B. Davitt III, 62, entered into rest on December 21, 2011 at his home in Wallingford. He was the beloved husband of Gail (Ruwet) Davitt. Jim was born June 16, 1949, a son of the late James and Florence (Shea) Davitt. In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his son, James B. Davitt IV and his wife Kathryn of Wallingford; his daughters, Cheryl Davitt of Wallingford, Robin Wells and her husband Steven Wells of Wallingford; his brothers Robert of West Haven and Raymond of California; a sister, Kathleen Raccio of North Haven. Jim was a devoted grandfather to his four grandchildren; Christopher, James, Steven and Connor. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog, Linus. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Friends may call on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St. in Wallingford.
