I considered Charlie a close friend and colleague. We shared a love of books, particularly mysteries by English authors, and many lunches together at the Quinnipiac Club's members' table, always sitting next to each other. We also shared clients, he as a stock broker and me as a lawyer. Charlie was respected by all who worked with him and he will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to Kirt whom I've met and Carol and Alex whom I haven't had the privilege of meeting. He was very proud of you.
